Obituary

Velma Viola Roberts, 88, of White Hall, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was born September 10, 1931 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to the late James Monroe and Vestie Viola McCalister Spradling.
Velma was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Sidney Floyd Roberts, whom she married July 1, 1960 and who passed away February 9, 1975; one daughter, Lynn Blair; three sons, Willis Ray Seaman, Gene Lawson and Roy Lunsford; three brothers, Leonard Spradling, Edward Spradling and Doyle Spradling; and two sisters, Pauline Anderson and Lottie Chris.
Survivors include four daughters, Helen Heird, Brenda Sweat, Betty Simmons and Janie White; six sons, Bud Hurst, Gene Crook, Ray Roberts, Allen Roberts, Floyd Roberts and Joe Roberts; one sister, Melva Williams; 35 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Robinson-Fuller White Hall with Reverend Larry Heird officiating. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery at England. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Robinson-Fuller White Hall.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Akines, Danny Akines, James Cozad, Caleb Cozad and Jeremy Cozad.
The family will be at the home of Helen Heird, 1750 Butram Road, White Hall, AR 71602.

She was my great grandma and every family reunion she pestered me calling me a trouble maker and hugged me and kissed my head she my papaw mom Gene Lawson I miss them both dearly

Aunt Velma was a dear lady & I loved er dearly. She sat with us until dad took his last breathe & that was very special to me. She could make you laugh . Aunt Velma will be missed but I know she is in a better place.
