Obituary

Charles T. “Tom” Tuck, age 75, of Stuttgart, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the McClellan Veteran’s Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born July 4, 1944 to Charles Edward Tuck and Jeanette Davis Tuck, he graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1962, joined the United States Marine Corps in 1962 and served until 1966. Tom was an Ontos tank specialty mechanic and served in Vietnam.

He was a Baptist and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. Tommy loved God, his country, and his family. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 48 and served as sergeant-at-arms. He also took great pride in the placement of American Flags at the Field of Heroes at Post 48.

Tommy worked for Cornerstone Farm and Gin and retired as foreman after over 30 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Carlotta Walker Tuck; three daughters, Ann Crosser (Bobby) and Amy Keown (Kasey) all of Lonoke, and Alisha Keown (Tim) of Cabot; a sister, Shelba Tuck Payton of Paducah, KY; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel at Pine Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Woody Evans officiating. Burial with Military Funeral Honors will be in Keo Cemetery. We will observe Covid-19 guidelines and request everyone to bring and wear their own mask.

Carlotta and family, I am so sorry. Tom was a fine man. I know his rewards in Heaven are bountiful. Please know you are all in my heart and prayers during this sad and difficult time. Matthew 5:4 - "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." I pray you find the comfort and peace only God can give. I love you, Carlotta.
