My grandmother was very kind and sweet. She was always good natured. The memory that stands out to me is time we went to get a portrait done. I wanted all of us in the picture and all of us a take a very silly picture for my son so he would always have a fun memory of us together when he grew up. She didn't hesitate. Even now I am surprised by how a woman of such dignity would look silly for a beloved great-grandchild. I will deeply miss her.
