Julius Sterling Bostian, age 100, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019.
Born May 16, 1919 at Star City, he was a son of the late Edward W. Bostian and Nancy McGee Bostian.
Mr. Bostian served his country during World War II working stateside at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. He retired after 42 years with Civil Service both at the Arsenal and the National Center for Toxicological Research.
He was a former deacon at Green Meadows Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Olive Branch, MS.
His wife, Ruth Ratliff Bostian predeceased him in December of 2006. Also preceding him in death are three sisters, Myrtle Gregory, Una Mae Bostian, and Lona Bell Lewis; and a brother, Joe William Bostian.
Survivors include his step-children Rev. James Ratliff and Jane Ratliff Denton; and a brother, O. Z. McGee.
Graveside services will be Friday, August 2, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
