Mrs. Joann is a very happy memory for me. She was in the group of elder faithful Christian women who were the backbone of our church, Matthews Memorial. You could always count on Joann To be in attendance and working, rather it be teaching, rockin’ babies, in the kitchen- she was about serving her Lord. Joann was Vacation Bible school leader to me & my 3 little brothers when we were little. Years later I was matched to be her teaching helper in VBS! I have so many wonderful memories of my years at Matthews and Ms Joann & her family are among them. Her sweet smiling face will remain in my thoughts. I send my sincerest sympathy to Cheryl & Rana.

Rana, Cheryl and all your family, My Prayers, thoughts and love to you all. I loved your wonderful mom, all our long time church memories, worshipping, music, class meetings/parties and fellowship, laughing, fun and sharing our love of God and family. Your mom to me was an example of a Christain woman, mother and wife to your dad. Your memories, family, friends and God's Grace will comfort you.
