Jimmy Lee Brown was born March 7, 1948, in Dumas, AR, to Claud Lewis and Dona Emerson Brown.  He was a barber, and formerly served as Chief of Security at the Boy’s Youth Service Center and an auxiliary officer with the Pine Bluff Police Department.  Jimmy loved playing pool, and in his earlier years enjoyed going coon hunting.

Jimmy passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the age of 74.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Frost; and a grandson, Justin Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Brown; one son, Randy Brown; one daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Johnny Brown; his grandchildren, Jonathan Brown and wife, Katelyn, and Mollie Sanford; his great-grandchildren, Jase and Jake Brown; a nephew, Benny Glass; and a niece, Betty Ann Patterson and husband, Gary.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Rowell Cemetery with Ricky Hayes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
