Jerry Lynn Hawkins, age 67, of Woodlawn, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Born January 1, 1954 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late Raymond Eushel Hawkins and Audrey Mae Smith Hawkins. He grew up in Pine Bluff and Woodlawn and graduated from England Academy in 1972.

For 17 years, Jerry worked as an extruder operator at International Paper Company. He was later employed by the Department of Defense with Raytheon Engineers in munitions disposal. He worked for a number of years as a shift manager on Johnson Island and at the time of his retirement was shift supervisor of Raytheon’s site at Clinton, IN.

He returned to the Woodlawn area in 2013 and was a member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Sue Hudson and Mary Hawkins; and a brother, Ray Hawkins.

Survivors include his wife, Stefanie Britt Hawkins, whom he married on December 8, 1973 at Woodlawn; two sons, Kevin Hawkins (Ashley) of Star City and Brandon Hawkins of Rison; one brother, Pat Hawkins of Woodlawn; and four grandchildren, Deming Hawkins, Mazie Hawkins, Maggie Claire Hawkins, and Kooper Hawkins.

There will be a memorial visitation Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel in Pine Bluff. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Wesley Chapel Cemetery Association, c/o Barbara Allred, 2290 Highway 63, Rison, AR 71665.
