Obituary

Frances Marie Bird Spurlock, 82, of White Hall, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was born April 28, 1938 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Grover and Helen Poehlien Bird.
Frances was a retired delivery driver for Trotter Ford. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Frances loved cooking for her family and spending time with her grandkids. She was a Baptist.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Louis “Birddog” Townsel; and her second husband, Alton “Snuffy” Spurlock.
Survivors include her daughters, Laura King (Paul) of Pine Bluff and Pam Kolb (Paul) of Springdale; step-son, Jeff Spurlock of Pine Bluff; step-daughter, Sara Vanderhorst of Maine; sisters, Wilma Greenlee of New Haven, Indiana, Carol Dennis (Tom) of Roseville, California and Loretta Campbell (Larry) of Marion, Indiana; brother, Gene Bird (Shirley) of Marion, Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob King (Lacy), Rachel DePriest (Josh), Paul Louis Kolb, Autumn Kolb, Vicki Cruz (Adrian), Jenny Rodriguez (Danny), David Spurlock (Bethany), Ashley Korzeniewski (Tom) and Keegan Fowler; and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home.

I’m saddened to hear that Frances passed away but I know that she and Snuffy are happy to be back together. I know how much Snuffy loved her and how much she loved him. I’m happy that they are back in each other’s arms.
