Obituary

Dorthetta Lee Johns Bonds, 73, of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born February 24, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Maurice H. and Bessie Reddin Johns McKinney.
Dot worked for Ben Pearson, and then worked for D.H.S. in the finance department for 27 years until her retirement in 2016. She loved reading and served on the library council performing grant writing. Dot was also a dog lover and helped with the Southeast Arkansas Dog Show. She was a member of the Assembly of God Faith.
Also preceding her in death were her son, Phillip Anthony Calvert; and a step-brother, Mike McKinney.
Dot is survived by her son, Darren Wade Bonds (Michelle); sister, Donna Claud (Walter); step-brother, Ronnie McKinley; step-sister, Sandra Delsanto; and four grandchildren, Erica Tritz, Garrett Bonds, Kaya Bonds and Evan Bonds.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Fuller Funeral Service. Burial will be in McFarland Cemetery at Banks (Bradley County). Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until funeral time

The obituary doesn’t say nearly enough. Dot was a kind, smart and incredibly loving friend who will be greatly missed. RIP sweet friend. Teri
