Obituary

Cheryl Annette Hutcheson Childress, 54 of Pine Bluff, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Born July 15, 1966, she was the daughter the late William “Dub” Hutcheson and the late Christine Lewis Mutzberg.
Cheryl was a member of Pine Bluff First Assembly of God. She was employed by Tom Fitts Co.
Cheryl enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, Terry Childress.

Cheryl is survived by siblings, Stacy Hutcheson Morse (Clint), Teresa Haustein (Matt), Rochelle Henry (David), Tod Mutzberg (Sharon); niece, Lindsey Jones (Scotty); nephew, Darren Clark (Laura); niece, Cassie Neisius (Chris); and great nephews, Brayden, Grayson, and Max; great-niece, Macie; step-mother, Lavon Hutcheson; and many other loving family and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, May 17, at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Reverend Gary Bell and Pastors Andrew Longo and Pat Hart officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 9-10:00 A.M.

The family will receive friends at the Haustein residence at other times.

I was so sorry to hear about Cheryl's passing. I have known Cheryl since high school and she has always been so kind and caring towards others. I know she loved her family dearly, especially the nieces and nephews. Praying God will comfort you all during this time.

Pastor Terry Randolph, the PBHS CLass of 84, and the Gethsemane MBC would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family. Cheryl had a beautiful spirit and lovely personality. Sorry for your loss. Cheryl was always telling me about her family when I would call my orders into the office at Tom Fitts. She loved her niece and nephews. I only got to meet her one time and she greeted me with a hug. She was full of joy and I will miss talking to her.
