Carroll Alexander Covington, 78, of White Hall, AR, died Friday, April 24, 2020. He was born April 21, 1942, in Tucker, AR, to Alva and Betty Ruth Archibald Covington. He was a United States Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper. Following his time in the Army, he became a mechanical drafting instructor for the Arkansas Department of Education, teaching in many different locations.

He is remembered as always working in the yard, or repairing something—always keeping busy and helping his neighbors.

He is survived by his former wife, Jane Covington; two sons, Alan Covington and Gary Covington; one brother, Julian Covington; one sister, Ruth Ann Davis; two grandchildren, Randy Covington and wife, Candice, and Carilon McClatchy and husband, Jesse; 8 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

No services have been scheduled at this time.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.

Jane and family--I'm so sorry for your loss of Carroll. We worked together at Riverside Vo-Tech and always loved to hear what his comments would be each morning.......he made our day with his dry wit and jokes. He will always be remembered as "Cov". My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
