Carl Allen Rushing was born December 3, 1964, in Pine Bluff to Margie Sipes Rushing and A.B. “Buddy” Rushing, Jr. He was a 1983 graduate of Watson Chapel High School, and received his Associate’s Degree from ITT Tech.  He was a manager for Allied Security.  Carl loved keeping the family together, whether he was fishing, camping, having a cookout, or going on trips to Branson.  He especially loved playing with his grandbaby. He loved Christmas and decorating for the holidays and enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yardwork.

Carl passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the age of 58, and was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Donald Rushing.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Rushing; two sons, Zachary Rushing and wife, Britney and Kenneth Reed and fiance’, Becca Rodriguez; two brothers, Jimmy Rushing and Timothy Rushing, Sr; one sister, Debra Harris and husband, Mike; one grandson, Blake Rushing (aka Nugget); and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Fuller Hale-South.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the chapel of Fuller Hale-South with Bruce Cox officiating.  Burial will follow in Rowell Cemetery.
