Bobby Sparkman, 69, of White Hall, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at his home.  He was born March 4, 1954, in Bastrop, LA, to Sam Gordon Sparkman and Uvita Harlon Sparkman. He was a United States Army veteran, later serving in the United States Navy, and was a fork lift operator. When he wasn’t working, Bobby loved fishing or playing a game of cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Faye Muriel Sparkman, Lilly Souter, Oma Jean Cook, and Nettie Louise Sparkman; and his brothers, James Gordon Sparkman, Nariel Maryland Sparkman, and Sam Mack Sparkman.

Survivors include his sister, Katherine Edwards; one son, Bobby Sparkman, Jr. and wife, Malinda; two daughters, Murria Butler and husband, Adam, and Jessica Teague and husband, Josh; grandchildren, Madelyn and Tatum Teague, Ashley and Kristen Sparkman, Carlee Lewis, Wyatt Bearden, Dillion Bolton, Josh and Jasmyne Burris; great-grandchildren, Kingston White and River Lily Williams and Natalie Cooper; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the care of Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
