Obituary

Bobbie June Veazey, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away January 3, 2020.

Born June 20, 1935 at Sheridan, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Smith Miller and Allene Favor Roberts. She was reared and received her early education in Woodlawn and Sheridan.

A homemaker and loving mother, she was the widow of Raymond Veazey. She was a member of Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church and was a former member of Greenlee Baptist Church. Mrs. Veazey also enjoyed cooking and trips to Branson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Keith Dewey Nation; and infant grandson, Richard Anthony Davidson; a sister, Letha McEntire; two brothers, James Kenneth Miller and Conway Miller; two nephews, Billy Miller, Jr. and Kenneth James Miller and wife Elizabeth “Betty”, a sister-in-law, Wanda Miller; and a niece, Connie Glenn and husband, Jerry.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Nation and her fiancé, Rick Vanderpool; two brothers, Donald Gene Miller and Billy Ray Miller; nephews, Larry McEntire and wife Barbara, Donnie Miller, and Stanley Mark Miller; and a niece, Lisa Pinson and husband Jeff.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2020, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Rusty Womble officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
