Arline Millard Wilkins, age 97, passed away December 18, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas, after suffering many years with Dementia. She was born in Blue Ball (Scott County), Arkansas on May 1, 1922.

She was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, and friend to so many. "Mom, thank you for being such a wonderful loving mother. You gave above and beyond and expected so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us. We know you have received your angel wings and that you are having a grand reunion with all of our family members who have gone before you, especially Dad, Hollis and Carolyn Ann. We love you Mom and will miss you dearly.”

She was a member of the following churches during her life time: Cranes Mill Baptist Church, Canyon Lake, Texas, Hardin Baptist Church, Hardin, Arkansas, and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Rison, Arkansas.

Mom was preceded in death by her: parents Robert Ervin Millard and Barbara Ellen Morrow Millard; husband Albert Addison Wilkins; oldest son Hollis Addison Wilkins and youngest daughter Carolyn Ann Wilkins; all of her 10 siblings Robert Leon Millard, John Boone Millard, Coy Millard, Vester Millard, Melvin Millard, Hubert Millard, Marylan White, Grethal Starwalt, Sybil Brock and Moreen Anderson.

Survivors include daughters Jeanette Fincher of San Antonio, Texas and Bettie Genice Wilson of Bulverde, Texas and son Charles Albert Wilkins of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by Grandchildren Tony Ray Wilkins, Carie Ann Wilson, Darla Jenice Wilson and Tye Anthony Fincher, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to send a very special thank you to all of the compassionate and loving caregivers who took care of her all these years, as well as, her great Hospice Team.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her memory to: Alzheimer’s Association, at, or calling 800-272-3900 for the mailing address.

Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020, followed by funeral services at 2:45 p.m. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N. Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, Texas 78232, (located on access road between Stone Oak Parkway and Hwy. 281). Fuller Hale-South Funeral Home, 1621 Cherry St., Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is handling interment/graveside services at Mt. Zion Cemetery out of Rison, Arkansas, on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
