Obituary

Allen Ray Morris, age 57, of Pine Bluff, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021.

Born July 13, 1963 at Downey, CA, he was a son of the late Eugene Morris and Wilma Beggs Morris. He moved to the Pine Bluff area at the age of 12 and attended Watson Chapel Schools.

Allen was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver in the logging industry. From his teenage years and throughout his life, he spent his life as a hard-working man. He also enjoyed deer hunting.

He was an active member of Double Wells Assembly of God Church. Allen put his family and God above all things. He instilled many life lessons in his children, and his legacy will live on.

In addition to his family, he was predeceased by a son, John Morris; and a sister, Peggy Ivey.

Survivors include his wife, Celeste Eastham Morris; his children, Brian Morris, Jessica Morris (Jeffrey Manning), and Clay Morris (Jamie); three siblings, Nancy Tharp, Ronnie Morris, and Timothy Morris: and six grandchildren, Trevor Morris, Madison Morris, Mason Morris, Hinsley Morris, Harper Morris, and Hadleigh Morris.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 12, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Mike Cottrell officiating. Burial will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

I always appreciated Allen coming and spending time waiting for Mama to come out of surgery when she broke her hip.
